Day 17: Game Night!

  Greetings, I hope everyone's Sunday was productive! The Radek's big accomplishment for the day was that we took our Christmas tree down today! For once Shado and I had spare time to notice the damn thing was still up.  Now that the tree is crammed into its box and sucked into the vortex of the spare room, Christmas is finally over! MaD has spoken.

  Tonight we had a Game Night at the club.  Malvakai and Tammaryon rezzed some game tables for people to use.  A handful of us played some Mahjongg, Skeetball, Una and poker!  The favorite game of the evening seemed to be Una.  During the end it was just me and Tamm (who royally whooped my ass).  Here are a couple shots of tonight's Game Night!

  Yes that is Gramma Zora dancing on top of the table.  Everyone had to look between her legs to see what color suit the cards were.  She didn't want to play so instead she danced grin.

  Before I get to listing the events here I thought I would share 2 things with you all! Shado tallied up all the donations for last week and I looked up the count of VIPs we have.  For last week alone everyone contributed a whopping 3,789L to the club.  Thank you very much everyone :)  As of today we have a total of 118 VIPs!! Not too shabby I think!

  A reminder that all Wednesday events will be held on the beach portion of the club from now on.  The LM is attached in the weekly events NC I send out on Sundays, or you can simply walk over from the club landing point!  The "Stayin' Alive" event is a 70s/Disco theme and the Famous Lovers event means to dress up as one of the famous lovers that are known, it can be fictional or real!  If you are solo you can dress as which ever famous lover :)

  Thank you to all who showed up for the Game Night tonight, it was great fun listening to Mal curse aloud trying to figure out how to play her skeetball game.  To end tonight's posting I am leaving you with a lovely photo of my Monday Hostess, Harper Montgomery.  If you were at last Monday's event you will remember her putting on a pair of egg pasties and a bacon skirt.  For those who missed it, here is a picture. Day 16: Movie Night!

  Another night, another blog entry.  I must have my shit together this week, no skipped posts woo!  I hope you all had a great Saturday night! All of us at the club sure the hell did!  For once I am posting when the event is actually done and not during.  My twisted logic was if I started blogging early I would get to bed early, NOT.  I think it would still work if I actually logged out of SL before making a new post... so I get distracted easy.

  I will begin with some pouty sad news.  Suvana, our Saturday Hostess, has to step away from working for lil ol' me for awhile.  She is too wiped from rl to have the energy needed to host for you rambunctious crazy wildebeasts.  I am sure she will come visit when she can though.  So for now you are stuck with me on Saturdays mwahaha.  We wish you the best of luck Suvana and wuv you!

  Tonight's event theme was Movie Night! The trick was to dress as your favorite Movie Character/Hero!  Tonight we had a midget Ninja Turtle, a Ferris Bueller, Lady Death, the transvestite off Rocky Horror Picture Show, the man servant hunch back guy from the same movie, Lara Croft, Spiderman, Jessica Rabbit *drool*, Wolverine,  Catwoman, the vampire chick off Underworld, a really short Xena, Austin Powers with Foxy Cleopatra and some others!  It was a really fun night. Suvana hosted and Shado played some fine tunes!  We went with a rock themed playlist tonight I think it went over well.

  There are some photos of tonight's event, the ones from my computer are really shitty, sorry if they are really dinky but my computer is so ancient you need coal to run it (kind of kidding).  The only nice picture is the crowd shot Shado took.  The best part was we all crammed onto his huge multi-sit couch for the group photo!.  Many were missing because the couch is so scripty it made some patrons go boom.

  We have a new VIP in the house yay! Please welcome Miss Seraphina Bouevier to the freaky family!  We hope to see you at future events!  One of the highest Sploder pots tonight was close to 500L, congrats to Julie515 for winning the biggest chunk (or in the words of the sploder "you won the higgest pot")... got to love exspensive club equipment that typos.

  Tonight's Big winner for Movie Hero Night is Lexi Vargas!  Lexi got the most votes of the evening and walked away with most of the contest pot, which was topped off at I believe 850L.  Good job Lexi *applause*!  Congratulations to our runner ups who all tied for the exact amount of votes: Diesel79 Aeon, Julie515, and Eduardo!

  Some more thank yous to go out to our donators for the evening!  Thank you to Eduardo, Daisyfire Sunflower, greanfrogE Oh, and Sakura Delight for your kick ass donations!  If you were missed, my bad.  My computer sucks major shnarglies, it lags on EMPTY sims man.  Normally I would be hogging Shados computer but I was nice and let him DJ tonight :)

  That just about ends tonight's posting.  Tonight was really really fun! Tomorrow is Game Night at the club.  A couple of the hostesses will be rezzing game tables on the dance floor.  Please do pop in and play a round of Una or whatever else is handy! If you don't want to play you can dance or take a comfy seat!  I will be nearby since I will be making up the new events for the week and etc.  I foresee another interesting week in events - yay!

Tonight's Favorite photo is shockingly not event related.  After everyone buggered off me and Tamm dressed down into our skimpies and sat at the beach portion of the club and relaxed a bit.  So feast your eyes upon us catching some rays before calling it a day!

   Damn do I look a lot perverted, I wonder what was running through my mind when I took that picture... probably best left unknown.

Day 15: Stark Ravin' MaD!

  Good evening! I am posting early in hopes of getting to bed at a decent hour for once!  As I type tonight's Rave event is in full swing! Everyone is super vibrant and flashy looking!   We hit over a dozen attendees again and still counting since the night is still young.

  Thus far everyones getting into the music, my awesome Manager picked an awesome radio station for everyone to get in the techno-y Rave-y mood! Good job Tamm :)  We have a new addition to this crazy family, welcome Bill Maxwell to the Looney Bin!

  I got some photos to share with you all tonight too!! I didn't get many individual pictures because most of you were too damn glowy bwaha.  I would like to start off with my 2 favorite snapshots of the evening!  I usually only have 1 favorite but it was too hard to choose so here are MaD's top Pictures of the evening.  I present you firstly our newest VIP Bill, his photo turned out well and hes damn fine eye candy!

My other Photo Favorite of the evening is my hardworking Club Manager Tamm!  I was playing with a floor angle and she was doing the perfect dance!

  I was just given a NC by Sakura Delight and her group of pals, how delightful! The NC has a ton of great theme ideas which I am sure I will use!!! If you have ideas for a theme please do send them to me inworld on a NC!

Day 14: Getting Jiggly With It!

 Good evening!  I hope everyone's evening was pleasant and enjoyable!  Mine started off goofy before logging in.  So here is another excerpt from the Secret Life of Shado & MaDawna Radek...

  I had just got home from work, just as that winter storm we were threatened with hit.  Shado and I got comfy on our respected sides of our couch and his work cellphone rings.  He had to dash off to work in the middle of some criminal show series he likes to watch.  He leaves and I continue watching the show, because I couldn't be bothered to get off my ass to look for the remote.  The show ends, then on comes American Idol... ugh remote where art thou??? I searched in vain for the remote to change the channel (as in I looked everywhere as far as I could see from my side of the couch) and couldn't find it.  So I sat through a whole episode of American Idol.  To me the show is not worth watching anymore without Simon.  Randy does a horrible job of channeling his inner-Simon.  Other than that it was an ok episode.

Moving on to SecondLife!

  Tonight's event theme was Topless - Hosted by Malvakai Paine!  Mal's events are always a hoot.  She likes to decorate for atleast one of her shifts.  As I was deleting the TP sign for yesterday's beach event I was greeted with a gigantic pair of knockers.... Mal strikes again! We had good attendance - managing over a dozen AVs every night is good methinks :D  Everyone looked boob-a-licious!  I'm not in the photo-takee mood tonight, sowwy no photos hehe.

  Now for our winners of the Topless event!  With a contest pot of 500L we had a tie for most votes, so a big congratulations to Mallia Brandi & Kitten!  Our 2 runner ups were DaisyFire Sunflower & Gaib Celt - congrats!!

  There were a lot of generous donations tonight, if you donated and were not mentioned, please accept my apologies.  I was off and online throughout the event so here are the ones that were noted.  Thank you to Gaib Celt, Cyric Silverblade, Zora Lutrova, Julie515 and Eduardo for their super donations!! It all goes back to the club for contests and paying the hosts :)  You all rock!

  I have been slowly picking away at making the blog page look not lame.  Please note the neato logo at the top of the page, I made it all by myself!! When I get more time I will have some graphics  added to it to make it really stand out!

  Another thing to note is we now have 115 VIPs!!! That is so cool!! The club opened April of last year, so this is progress.  Slow and steady is OK with me!  Plenty of room for others to join in :)

Day 13: Life's Beachy!

  Good evening fellow blog readers!  Before I get on about tonight's event at Obscure Nightlife I must mention something about the theme name itself.  Apparently MaD (Me) the typo Nazi actually typoed when handing out the NC's and listing the event.... I was so sure I spelt the theme correctly! Shado went as far as googling the correct spelling (ass!!!) to prove he was right.  So I screwed up, I admit it! The theme should read Hawaiian not Hawaiin..... Hawaiian Hawaiian Hawaiian Hawaiian Hawaiian!!!!!!!!

*Catches breath*

  Ok back to our scheduled programming!  Tonight's theme was HAWAIIAN (aka Get Lei'd) with the lovely Tamm as your hostess and lil ol me providing the tunes! 

  We held this event on this lovely patch of beach attached to the club land - for the first time!  The scenery was great.  A nice big patch of sandy beach, a pretty wooden stage for the host and DJ, artfully placed palm trees, shithawks soaring gracefully in the sky, and um a pair of loons swimming around (I think they're lost).  Many people came out for the party, we also have a few new faces too woo woo!  The traffic peaked at over a dozen people, everyone looked great!  I think everyone was enjoying my eccentric music as well yay!  There was a handful of donaters tonight - a big thank you goes out to: Sakura Delight, Colina Bing, Kitten (Draco Boa), and DaisyFire Sunflower

  We had a couple old friends pop in tonight and hang out with us.  If you were at the beach and didn't know Draco Beardmore ("Not-Kitten" for clarity sake), after tonight you do know!  Dancing at his side was his lovely partner Colina Bing.

  I would like to take the time to give a warm welcome to our newest additions to the not-normal Obscure family - Welcome Viper Clarence, Darnell Core, Forever Enchanted (nice name!) and Colina Bing!!!

  Tonight's contest was a bit out of the ordinary, we had a "winner takes all" contest round for tonight - which made our first ever on a beach event more awesome :D.... Tonight's contest pot hit 750Ls! The winner who took all the loot was Sakura Delight, yay for Sak!!! Now here is a lovely picture of our big winner!

  Adding photos to a blog post is great, it's like reading a book with pictures *squeeee*  I have a few more shots to add but I will add them near the end.  As mentioned above, the event went over very well with a few people asking if we could have events more often outside - so be on the look out for more outdoorsy events!  I rather enjoyed it too, being crammed into a building can be a little sweaty and claustrophobic (google that Shado!!!!!).  If you have beach themed ideas, please feel free to forward them to moi (MaDawna Radek) in world!

  Now for my favorite snapshot of the night.  These can be purposeful, random or completely by accident! I pinky swear this one was an accidental one *smirk*  This happened while I was camming around getting some pics to add into tonight's posting.  I had just finished taking the picture of me and Tamm on stage and scrolled back.  My view stopped (completely coincedently - honest!!) right behind Kitten's.... behind.  I present to you, Kitten's Buttocks *applause*.

  All hail Kitten's ass! Bow I say, Bow!!  I mean look at that great lighting on her one butt cheek it makes it look all 3D and shit.

  This just about concludes my entry for tonight, it was another great night hanging with the VIPs!  Tonight's out of the ordinary happening - Sakura breaks JCs leg.  Knowing JC he probably deserved it - grin.  I really wish I had actually witnessed what happened but it was one of those his leg was fine before I went to my music player and it was in a cast when I came back kind of deals.  Good luck with the recovery JC ;).

  *Looks at time and screeches* Oh shit, Shado will be googling ways to knock me out and not make it look like spousal abuse if I dont hurry the hella up with this!!! As promised I will barrage you with more pictures!  Thanks for reading tonights blog posting!!! It feels kind of out of sync mostly because I was trying to converse with the few who stuck behind at the end of the event while typing in here at the same time.

  Tomorrow is Topless Night hosted by Miss Malvakai Paine! This should prove to be fun, Mal is well known for her fun trivia.  Maybe she will have some boobie trivia for us :D

Day 12: Plaid is Fantastic!

  Tonight we present Best in Plaid with Tammaryon Galicia and DJ greanfrogE Oh! There is a lot of nice plaid-ly clad patrons hanging out with us tonight!  There is well over a dozen people in attendance at this point and time - all looking incredibly lovely in their kick ass plaid!

  This blog post is a wee bit early considering its barely an hour into the event right now.  It's one of those "just in case I pass out face first on my desk" kind of scenerios tonight!   Because I am updating early it probably means I will miss any juicy things I could be potentially sharing here, good thing there are other events. 

  *Stifles jaw breaking yawn*, sheesh we need a new bed (sadly only because its old and the springs are poking through... nothing to do with *wearing* out the bed).  So far tonight we had a few super donations! Thank you Devlyn Wickentower, Joshtwoeagle Fenstalker and Cyric Silverblade (Temperance) for your awesome donations :D  Proceeds go to paying the hosts and contests!  Thank you again!

  Tomorrow's event will be held outside of the club on this lovely patch of beach Shado terraformed together! Tamm will be the host and "Get Lei'd" is the event name (thats a Hawaiin Theme if you can get past how dirty the theme title sounded when you read it outloud)!  We hope to see you there, it is a really pretty spot with plenty of space to dance!

  Okie, I must end this post before I start typing in circles.  It was nice seeing the faces I did in attendance tonight!  I will leave this question as my parting remarks for the evening....

Day 11: Harper For Breakfast.

  Don't mind the odd title, it's one of those "You had to be there" scenerios.  It is Monday yet again, Diesel and Harper are boogying on stage.  Tonight's usual Casual/80s night is not so usual (again). This is where I explain the odd title!

  My memory is a little foggy as to how this started (which is silly it literally happened about 15 minutes ago), but the end result was Harper wearing a pair of fried egg pasties and a bacon skirt.  I think she was channeling her inner Lady Gaga, that only works if you go all the way and wear an entire meat dress - down to the shoes and purse!  The end result of the end result is that Harper's right boob is now named Flap Jack.  We had discovered her left one was named Eileen and didn't want the other one left out.

  ANYWAYS... I think we are all (or atleast a select few individuals) are well on their way to the looney bin OR having Shado turning the club into an insane asylum.  Here are a couple normalities!

  One of our newest VIPs is the lovely Natalyaj Zenovka - Welcome to the Obscure Family! Tonight's blog update is a wee bit short because MaD is really sweepy, I do have a damning image of Harper in her foody attire (Onyx will be so proud!).  It will be posted very soon!

Day 10: New Week!

  Sunday already! This week just flew man - flew! We got a neato batch of events coming up this week I can't wait!

  As I am typing this blog there is a pile of people in the club sitting at a bunch of games tables the hosts rezzed out.  They asked pretty please that we have that as a regular Sunday thing so what the heck.  While planning out next weeks events I noticed we're already nearing the end of January already! Damn time flies...

  With February coming up there some special events coming up.  Valentines being a big one! I hope you have something special planned for your loved ones *wink wink*  Another thing or two coming up is mine and Shado's 2nd SL Wedding Anniversary and on that same date is Dev & Kyra's 1st anniversary! Woo hoo!  One more thing is Shado's Birthd....er I mean National Shado day (I'm not allowed to call it his Birthday no more so I had to call it something else -grin).  Be on the look out for extra special celebrations for these dates noted!

Day 8 & 9: Thank God For Weekends!

  *Smacks hand* Bad MaD for skipping a day again! I am sure Day 9's update will make up for it in length alone...

  Day 8: The Radeks meant to log in to SL Friday - honest!  Shado became unexpectedly ill right before dinner time so that kiboshed his plans for the evening.  As for MaD's excuse, well I had some time to kill before the start of the event so I sat on the couch to watch some TV.  Part way into some CSI: NY, Shado decides to use my lap as a pillow (he had a wicked belly ache poor guy) and FELL ASLEEP!  Normally I am able to slither out of whatever compicated headlock or scissorhold Shado loves to put me in while hes sleeping but I also had a 55lb dog (Nina) sleeping on my feet so I was stuck! I knew if I so much as shifted in my spot Nina would get all wiggly and excited which would wake Sicky Shado. So I sat there.... and sat there... sat some more... and even watched the rerun of the CSI episode I already saw while cooking dinner. Wahhhhhhhhh! (Shado eventually woke up - thank god I really had to pee)

  Day 9: Happy Saturday everyone! I hope your weekend is going super fantastic!! Tonight we had a Neko themed event - Hosted by the lovely Miss Suvana Danitz and the music streamed by Me!  We had a very good night with a great crowd. Normally Suv's shifts go quite normal but not tonight.  I really think this weird crap only happens when I am there!  For some reason unbeknownst to me or the owner of the... erm bloody feet, there was a pair of bloody feet prints suspended above everyones head!  The owner of the bloody feet prints lives a few plots over from the club so methinks it was a prim adjusting gone wrong. So, here is the first photo (of very many) in tonight's blog posting!

  Because I cropped the picture I hastily scribbled a circle around the feet prints.  Moving on... we had a decent crowd (over a dozen) with everyone looking very kitty-licious - so good that I went a little photo happy, there will be a lot of pictures in this post mwaha!  I did add in captions to the pictures so hopefully they are ledgible!  I am going to start with my favorite photos out of the whole batch. I present to you Obscure Nightlife's Manager - Tamm!

  No she is not dancing in a bowl of chocolate pudding, it's actually a gigantic cup of coffee (Tamm loves her coffee). Aint she a sweety???? Next we have a picture of KayKay12 (who I believe is our newest VIP - Welcome to the O.N. Family! If I'm wrong oopsie!) and dancing off to the side is Zora Lutrova who was just visiting us and was very gutsy dressing up in birdy feathers in a club full of kitty-folk.

  Next we have one of our regulars Gaib Celt! Hi Gaib!

  See the girl stretching herself on the floor under Gaib's arm? That's Onyx! She owns a lovely little shop just across from the club - go take a look at her lovely wares :D Here's a more flattering photo of her - no pencils up her nose, no propellors on her boobs and not mounted on her flying maxi pad for once!

  The next picture is of the girl with the cool not pooping birdy - Crystal Serarri and her dancing buddy Kayla Mirabella.  Off to the side is Julie515 and the owner of the bloody foot prints - Eduardo.

  In this next picture is another of our regulars, Draco Boa (Kitten)!

  Isn't she a beauty?  Moving on, this next picture is of our Monday Host and DJ - Harper and Diesel (Sorry ladies Diesel's taken)!

  It was a very fun event - you always know how well an event is by the amount of pictures MaD takes tee hee.

  We actually had a 5 way tie for tonight's contest winners (gasp)!  Congratulations go out to Crystal Serrari, Diesel79 Aeon, Harper Montgomery, Gaib Celt and Draco Boa.  Good job you guys!!

  At the end of the event, a small handful of us stuck around and chatted.  Thanks to the small group of people, they helped me plan out most of next weeks events.  Thanks everyone! Sometimes event planning can be a real pain in the bottom.

Day 6 & 7: MaD Plays Blog Hookie

   Like I said on the first post, I would update with new posts as humanly possible.  Shado and I are prone to not logging in a few times a week for a couple reasons: a) We like our RL time together although we are MUCH better looking in SL!  b) We're both too bitchy to log in and c) We just want a day off from the club and sim - and we do here and there entrusting the daily operations with Tamm who does a spectacular job *squees*.

  So because neither of us were online for Wednesday here is a belated Happy Hump Day - Happy Hump Day, I hope it was super hump-tastic!!!  And since I have nothing SL-like to report for Wednesday here is a small RL blurb from the world of The Radeks!

  Day 6: Shado texts me just before his start time for his job (7am).  I wasn't quite awake, it was something about a coyote and a car so i replied a cellphone version of a grumble-mutter "oh yeah thats cool".  Then he replies that he hasnt made it to work yet and that he's still talking with the Department of Fisheries and Wildlife.  Me being completely confused, rereads the first text then Shado knowing me so well with reading and early mornings phones me instead.  It turns out he was pulling up to a 4 way intersection and a coyote popped out and darted in front of the car so he slowed down and let it cross.  He watched it tippy toe to the other side of the road where it decided to turn around and snarl at the car! Teeth bared and all it charged at the front passenger side of the car and started ramming it - one pissed off coyote!  Other than that nothing really interesting happens to us.... seriously we're boring! Moving on!

  Day 7: Tonight's theme at the club was a Jamma Party! Everyone looked extra cute in their onesies, slippers and other sleepy time attire.  Malvakai was a delightful hostess as usual with a decent crowd of a dozen or so people.  I can honestly say I did not keep up with the goings on in the club tonight,  I was off and on in IM for the most part.  Judging from the snippets of conversation I could see when I looked at local chat, everyone was having fun.  A quick thank you to Devlyn Wickentower and DaisyFire Sunflower for the lovely donation tonight :) If I missed any other donaters - sorry! I just wasn't very observant tonight.  We had 3 lucky winners for tonight's contest. The pot was up to 500L with Miss Ellaanabeth Draesla our top winner and DaisyFire Sunflower & Devlyn Wickentower our 2 runner ups! Good job you 3!! Woo hoo!  Now may I have your attention please!! Our top winner in tonight's contes had such a cute Jammy ensemble I just had to share it with you all!  So to end tonight's posting.... I give you: Ella! Bask in her bunny awesomeness! Bask!

Day 5: Family Reunion

   Tonight's Best in Camo Event kicked major hiney - it was a great success with a maximum of 19 people in attendance for almost the whole event until the end.  Tamm was her usual sweet self on stage and grean rocked the music as always, like I said, a great night... So great it deserves atleast 3 exclamation points!!!

  The evening started off a bit quiet like the usually do but bit by bit more showed up.  Most were our regulars, but we also had some old friends pop in as well from a few years ago.  It was super to seem them hanging with us!  Welcome back you guys you know who you are :))

  I would love to say we had a nice pleasant busy NORMAL night but 9.9 times out of 10 our events are anything but normal.  So tonight's out of the ordinary is brought to you by my partner in crime Shado Radek (applause!).  I had asked him to take a picture or 2 of the great crowd we had tonight and while trying to drag images onto my AV he miscalculated and dragged a photo onto the floor - which in turn retextured his lovely wood flooring.  Do you think I would let that go un-noticed??? Hell no!  I really didn't have to point anything out since we have the most observant VIPs on the planet.  After some good humored chortling, Shado hastily put the floor back to normal.  So I suppose this is quite tame compared to some nights we have had *grin*.  I was originally going to post a photo in this entry but for some reason SL wont let me save images to my computer tonight wahhhhh.  Tomorrow if everything is behaving I will edit it into this post!

   We had a lot of VIPs entered into our contest board tonight, with 500L on the board we came out with 4 winners! Draco Boa (Kitten to you!) was our top winner with 7 votes - good job girl!  The other 3 were a 3 way tie for 2 votes each so congratulations to Sakura Delight, DaisyFire Sunflower and Tyrone Beamish (Ty is also our newest VIP - welcome Tyrone!!!).  The way we have every contest is a proportional split with X-amount of votes to win a piece of the pot.  So if one contestant has the most votes out of everyone they automatically win the largest portion of the money with the rest being split amongst the others with the next most votes and so on.  Sometimes we will have a winner takes all contest but we like the sharing aspect - everyone is a winner that way!  It's always nice to go home with a few spare Lindens in your pocket.

   We had a 1k sploder tonight - thanks to Joshtwoeagle Fenstalker who surprised us all by sneaking 1,000L in the sploder when no one was looking!  Josh has been one of our highest contributors to the club to date.  Thank you Josh from the bottom of mine and Shado's heart for all you have done to help out our club! We really appreciate it! *heart thingy*  Congratulations to benti parx for winning the most from the 1k sploder!! Good job!

Day 4: Harper Starts a Riot.

   Tonight's Club Event started off innocently enough.  I had showed up en advance dancing around catching up on some IMs... a pile of VIPs along with the Hostess Harper and my DJ Diesel show up shortly after.  Diesel started playing his usual kick ass tunes everyone was enjoying it, dancing or atleast moving in dancing-like motions.

   Half hour into the event it all went to fiddle-faddle-foo!  Harper prodded the patrons to join the contest board, they were all obliging ofcourse I mean who doesnt like money??  So everyone crowded around for being the first to click on the pretty "Enter" button... only to face plant into a blank contest board causing a dozen person pile up on stage.  One of the injured poked their head out from the body pile to declare "I cant enter the contest!!!"  Lo and Behold the contest board wasnt set up.  Once the battered VIPs were able to pick themselves off the stage they all started to mutter amongst one another.  A voice sounding remarkably like mine piped up "off with her head!!!" It wasn't me though because I'm way too nice to suggest lopping off the head of my own hostess *snort*. 

  Upon seeing a really big Shit Storm brewing, Diesel gallantly removed his shirt and distracted the masses giving Harper time to quickly set up the contest board in turn saving his Damsel in Distress.  30 seconds later all was well, people could enter the contest and were all quite forgiving on the condition Diesel kept the shirt off.  Not wanting to lose any tips or having his Wife horribly disfigured he kept the shirt off.

  Alright moving on...  Other then the first riot of the year or in the Club's recorded history, A lovely lassy, by the name of Crystal Serarri, came in wearing a awesome leather strappy ensemble with her date for the night in tow.  Her date caused quite a stir with the fellow VIPs, everyone asked where she bought her... ok that just sounds weird.  Her "date" was a cute birdy - a hawk to be exact named Athena.  At the risk of mentioning Harper's name again I have to *cackle*.... HARPER commented on how neat it was that the hawk was flapping her wings off and on while perched on her shoulders.  Crystal further demonstrated the birdy's coolness by letting it fly around the club, swooping down and between the dancers.  It was pretty neat! Other than a couple shrieks from the bird swooping too close, it didn't poop on anyone! Now thats a great pet - the non pooping kind!

  And this concludes Day 4's posting of the blog.  The event is still in full swing as I write this - and its kicking much ass!  As much as I rib my staff I love them to bits ;) I couldn't ask for a better crew! Day 3: Sunday = Paperwork Day

   I know Day 2's post shows as todays date but technically it was still yesterday when I made it - that will teach me for being up way too late. 

   I thought I would explain what "Paperwork Day" means.  Sundays are when I make all the new events for the week and list them in the SL event calendar, it can be a very daunting task if you don't have your creative juices flowing.  Another part of paperwork day is paying the staff and giving them a NC with the new events on it.  There, proof I don't slack ass!  I also thought it would be a super fantastic idea to post the events for the week on any Sunday entries I make for when this blog gets some followers.

   One thing I wanted to point out is that we have a lovely beach around the corner from the club that we hope to utilise for future events, go take a peek it's quite lovely!  If you have any Event theme ideas for the beach area or the club - by all means feel free to let MaDawna or Shado Radek know!

   Gee it's the near end of January next week already!? Thats ok that means summer is creeping closer and closer again - yay!  Anyways, enough typing for now.  I hope to see you all tomorrow night at the club!

Day 2: Blog Still Under Construction

   Well, I can proudly say I got absolutely nothing accomplished in SL or RL.  The weather has been extremely crappy and Shado has been coming home with borderline frost bite 2 days in a row.  So between sitting and watching my ass grow for the past couple days and playing nurse I got nothing done.  Good thing I have Tamm for a manager at the club! Feel free to stop by the club and tickle her she will have the pretty 'Obscure Manager' tag above her lovely head.

   Tomorrow I will most definitely be inworld since Sunday is payday for my hardworking crew plus making new events for the week! So stay tuned for the next posting I will have a rough outline of what the week will be like at Obscure Nightlife!

Day 1: New Blog WooHoo!

    Greetings, Welcome to the new official blog for Obscure Nightlife and its home base - the Hidden Valley sim.  The club and sim are an Adult rating so make sure you are age verified!  There are only a couple things that should be cleared up right now, just because its Adult rated it doesn't mean you can go chasing the visitors around with your detachable weiner on, thats just rude.  The other is: NO child AVs - ever, mostly because a) it's an Adult only area, b) child AVs are just fucking creepy and c) please refer to reason b).

  Obscure Nightlife (located on the South West corner of the sim) is owned by The Radeks (Shado and MaDawna). Shado's role is doing any maintenance thats needed (like one of the hosts retexturing the floor by accident or MaD kicking a hole in the wall). When the Club Staff isn't accidently leveling the building, he can be found on stage DJing when he feels up to it!  MaD's main role is operating the club and finding things for Shado to fix if he is having a slow day - mwahaha! 

  Events  are 6 days of the week (Monday-Saturday) starting at 7pm slt and ending at 9pm.  Every event night is a contest night so be sure to pay close attention to what the theme is!  Group notices are also kept to a bare minimum we cannot say the same for the group chat though - advertising using group chat wont even be remotely tolerated, doing so will result in being gashed in the eye with a sharpened stick.

  This blog will be updated as much as humanly possible, mainly with info on the club but other little bloglets about the surrounding area may appear once in awhile.

  Sorry to cut off the first post a wee bit abrupt but MaD needs her beauty sleep, no one likes a cranky MaD ;).  Please look out for more posts in the future!
