So you don't have to ask, the freaky looking thing with the Ronald Macdonald hair is Shado. He and I dressed up as characters from Alice in Wonderland. I am not as a specific character, just a neato Mad Tea Party costume! To survive the night with having to stare at Shado looking like *that* I pretended he was Johnny Depp, it worked wonders.
There were some kick ass costumes, my personal favorite was Kitten's - she dressed as Wonderwoman! She picked well, I am sure a lot of people fantasize about Wonderwoman :D Don't mess with WonderKitten!
Kind of off topic, but I had to share... While poor Shado was trying to DJ, Spawn decided that while we are trying to host an event that he would give his mini 16 month old She-Spawn a bath. Did I mention he and his gf had bought the little girl SQUEAKY bath toys earlier that day??? Everytime Shado went to go on voice many things had to happen: 1) Shado had to compose himself 2) Spawn had to stop shouting HIPPOPOTAMUS while squeezing the squeaky hippopotamus and shush the toddler and 3) I had to giggle really quietly. We heard the tub draining and thought thank god peace and quiet. No chance in hell! A naked baby runs into the room with a squeaky tub toy and our 2 dogs hot on her behind because they want the aforementioned tub toy and hot on their behind Spawn trying to grab the naked baby. So one of Shados announcements had a giggling baby and lots of tub toy squeaky noises in the back ground. Welcome to the Radek Funny Farm *giggles*.
Back on track! Yesterday (technically yesterday... Saturday to be precise) was the first time Shado and MaD hosted together in ages. Our rl has been so crazy that I had been hosting and DJing the Saturday events. So it was a fun night for the both of us :)
Before I mention our contest winners, I would like to thank Josh and Amy for the lovely donations! With an almost two year old staying with us I think some of the proceeds will be going to diapers and baby wipes - wheeee! If anyone else donated tonight I apologize for not catching your name - thanks though!!
Our contest ended at a $1000L pot, we had 3ish pages of names woo hoo! A big yay for Harper getting the most votes! And an equally big yay to our runner ups! Yay to Yiyi, benti and Josh!
I have more photos to share at the end of the post, that is all that was noticed since we were both distracted by a streaking baby and Spawn screeching about hippos the whole time... please feel free to poke fun at him about that when you see him on next :)
